Alexandra's First Golf Outing
Today, after welcoming my Dixon grandparents back from PEI, my Jeffrey grandparents took me to the Sackville Golf Course. They said "pay attention" because lady golfers make a lot of money. Gramma whined about her freezing feet, Jimmy cursed his cold golf game and I laughed as we flew over former strawberry fields. I learned how to drive the golf cart, wash the golf balls and look for all the balls that Grandpa bounced off trees. I don't understand why he kept aiming for the trees, but I'm not two yet, so I don't know everything. After golf, we took lunch up to Daddy' s office so we could brighten his day. Daddy let me draw on the white board and the white wall. Now we are off to Prince Edward Island. I smiled when I heard Gramma Anne tell Gramma Rosie that it wasn't baby proof yet; too bad Shawn, Michael and Owen aren't going to be here with me. This is a recipe for "fun." Gramma always says, "Girls are great leaders;" moveover, "you're following one."
