Nine degrees outside and we went swimming

Gramma Rosie says it is a three hour turnaround. It takes an hour to get everyone's coats, boots, hats and gloves on, pack up the snacks, towels and blankies, heat up the car and drive there. We spend an hour swimming and then reverse the effort. Still, Drew and I have a blast, so she thinks it's worth the effort. I'm swimming like a fish when I feel like it and like a toad when I want to play. Gramma offered me a bribe to swim halfway across the pool; just to make her happy, I cooperated after she put the camera away. Drew is having fun in his Ducky and sort of jumping off the side. I'm not sure if it's a jump or a "fall in" but everyone cheers and claps, so he thinks he's done something great. That's the great thing about grandparents–they think everything we do is great. Now they are passed out from the outing and I'm playing.
