This was a banner day and one that Gramma Rosie said was worth writing about.First, we went to the gym and

jumped, ran and tumbled for over an hour. The grandparents ran us through every piece of equipment and we left with Drew having one pink cheek. Gramma said it was okay and she was sure they would be the same color by the time our parents came home. Drew loved making himself a twin in the mirror. Gramma Rosie always thought she wanted twins, but even she was starting to have doubts today. Grandpa thought if he wore us out in the morning, we would be mellow enough for him to watch the golf channel. Not so––Gramma Rosie had other plans.
After lunch and naps, Grandpa and I put together Drews new ride toy. There are a few drawbacks. First of all, Drew can't reach the pedals, so he turns around and pushes it the other way. While that's not a problem, when he climbs up the handle, which looks like a ladder from Drew's vantage point, Gramma has to say, "No, Drew! Sit on your bum." Gramma sounds like Mommy, but Drew takes a step down, laughs, takes a step back up and stands on his seat. Sure enough, before Gramma could get to him, over he went. Not to worry, he didn't even cry.
The sun was warm and shinny so we went outside to ride our ride toys. We had lots of fun racing up and down the deck. Drew and I both won and we were on a roll.
Then the wheels started coming off the truck. Gramma had to go to Walmart to copy some pictures for her project, so she left me and Drew with Grandpa at the play structure. After we played awhile, Drew tired of the slide and started pushing the Walmart cart around. First he ran it over his toe and I thought that looked like fun, so I ran the cart over my toe. It's a good thing we were the only two in the play area. Next, I yelled, "I gotta go Pee." Grandpa put Drew in the cart and raced me to the men's bathroom, but there was a man holding down the only stall, so he raced me to the woman's and saw a nice lady who offered to take me in. She took me in and brought me back. Grandpa thanked her but I said, "I didn't need to wash my hands, I need to pee." So, Grandpa raced me back into the mens and I went pee; then he washed my hands and started washing his and Baby Drew's. At this point, I took off running. Don't ask me why...I'm just three, so I don't know everything. Grandpa and Baby Drew started chasing me but two women cut me off at the pass and said, "Does she belong to you?" Grandpa said yes, so they went on. Then, I took off running again and looked back see Grandpa running along pushing Drew in the Walmart cart and realized that Gramma Rosie had joined us and was running after him. I was laughing and Baby Drew was laughing, so she started laughing too. The only one not laughing was Grandpa. Grandma passed him and Drew, and caught up to me. She was moving pretty fast; I guess she is back in training for another trek. After that, Gramma sobered up and gave me the usual lecture and I said, "Sorry," and promised not to ever run from them again. We all made up and went to eat 'nunus' at the food court. Baby Drew trashed our whole area because the high chairs don't have their own trays, so Drew was pulled up with us where he could grab and smear everything. I told Gramma that Drew needed his own tray. Gramma always makes us sit close to the garbage cans, so it didn't take too long to clean up. When we finally got home, we were bushed. We read books and passed out. I suggested the grandparents get a good nights sleep so they'll be ready for tomorrow. Don't worry about us, Gramma Rosie was still smiling when she tucked us in and Grandpa had the golf channel on; it's like his "blankie."
