Drew's first swim lesson

This morning, Gramma Rosie and I were up first, so we had some time for "Girl Talk." I told her about the time that mommy lost me in the jungle. Her ears perked up and she wondered about my safety here in the wilds of Canada.

Today, we were going to go swimming at 11:00, but Baby Drew fell asleep, so we hung out in our swim suits while he took a nap. After crawling all over the gym yesterday, he was still tired today and so was I. Our parents need to come home so we can have some down time! The grandparents seems determined to keep us away from cartoons. Baby Drew is like a fish; he put his head in, splashed and kicked and thought he could swim. Gramma Rosie woke a sleeping giant on this one because she will not be able to keep him away from the water when we get to Mike's. Everyone will be on lifeguard alert. As for me, I went down the slide by myself and then with Grandpa. Grandpa wasn't happy when twice I got to the top of the ladder and said it was too cold to go down. But guess what - I still talked him into going again. Baby Drew and I had a lot of fun and so did our grandparents; although, Gramma seemed to be a little perturbed when I was the only child in the pool that got out to go to the bathroom. I wonder why?

After swimming, we guzzled the snacks and Baby Drew agreed with me that snack time is the best part of the day. Now Gramma is getting our stuff together for Papa Herb's 90th birthday. I can hardly wait for our next adventure.
